Who we Are

The Friends of the Portland Loreto Reserve was incorporated in August 2021 and members of the committee entered into a 50-year lease agreement with the Loreto Property Association in May 2022.

The groups purpose is to conserve, protect and enhance the natural values of this bushland reserve. Both a Management Plan and an Action Plan have been developed for the 24.5-hectare reserve. The bushland area is an isolated forest remnant of coastal Messmate Eucalyptus obliqua, at Bolwarra in South-west Victoria, and is owned by the Loreto Property Association.

The aim of this plan is to conserve, protect and enhance the natural values of this bushland reserve.
